Breathe ~ Relax ~ Drink Black Tea Often
Elders and babies
Passing time quickly, slowly
Hanging together
Winter bursts yellow
despite a frosty morning
All the more reason
Hello to nana
from the greatest show on earth
Camera present
Courting pigeons dip
on distant TV cables
Their own hit show starts
A priceless lost shawl
Described but no longer seen
Its maker lost, too?
Split bean pods open
on brittle mid-winter days
Dry run regatta
The light through mint leaves
Illuminating textures
Ready for close-ups
Bug on a lunch plate
looking for its own sweet snack
I show it the door
Nearly hatched buds
in tangles of protection
Every one right
Fluffy passerby
on its way with gusty friends
Web-caught for minutes
Soldier on a bike
Riding to his peaceful job
Uniform at ease
Leafy veins spreading
with a growing tree’s branches
Silent garden work
These last two droplets
on a blue sky cloudless day
Hidden from the sun
On either side’s face
sun and shade alternating
Rain and dark unite
Preoccupied bird
Too busy with its breakfast
to notice footsteps
Even as I snap
the creeper kisses its wall
Tiny buds travel
Mossy islands grow
on a grassy ocean plain
Archipelago
Rainy spider web
delivers sparkling rows of
passing light fancies
A row of droplets
Sitting patiently on green
Circularity
From a short distance
what I’d thought was a mirror
reflects white shadow
Autumn leaves grounded
turn one last beautiful shade
An earthy goodbye
Candles extinguished
by a passing gust of wind
Even the smoke gone
Shovelling side roads
The way ahead looks clear
Keep the shovel close
Garden jungle gym
Fallen twigs of the dying
weaving new patterns
A colourful bug
traversing the local bark
Camouflage hiding
Every morning
baby leaves experiment
with colour and shape
Prayerful resting cat
Catching her own spirit thoughts
Heaven comes with sun
The path to beauty
is paved with many choices
Nature finds its way
Buddha and Tiki
dreaming Hawaii and Thai
Shoot veranda breeze
A hand of red buds
reaching for infinity
Sun powered colour
The emptiest shop
forsaken of passing trade
still enjoys the sun
